This is my favorite conversion chart, ever.
At first glance, the chart may seem intimidating especially to the humble home cook.
I will try to break it down for you:
1 GALLON = 8 pints ☼ 4 quarts ☼ 16 cups
1 QUART = 2 pints ☼ 4 cups
1 PINT = 2 cups
1 CUP = 16 tbsp ☼ 48 tsp
2/3 CUP = 10 tbsp + 2 tsp
1/3 CUP = 5 tbsp + 1 tsp
3/4 CUP = 12 tbsp
1/2 CUP = 8 tbsp
3/8 CUP = 6 tbsp
1/4 CUP = 4 tbsp ☼ 12 tsp
1/8 CUP = 2 tbsp ☼ 6 tsp
1/16 CUP = 1 tbsp ☼ 3 tsp
1 TBSP = 3 tsp
Do I need to keep going? OK, some will be rounded to the closest equivalent.
1 TBSP = 15 ml
1 TSP = 5 ml
3/4 TSP = 3.75 ml
1/2 TSP = 2.5 ml
1/4 TSP = 1.25 ml
1/8 TSP = 0.63 ml
1/8 CUP = 1 oz ☼ 30 ml
1/4 CUP = 2 oz ☼ 60 ml
1/3 CUP = 3 oz ☼ 80 ml
1/2 CUP = 4 oz ☼ 120 ml
2/3 CUP = 5.5 oz ☼ 160 ml
3/4 CUP = 6 oz ☼ 180 ml
1 CUP = 8 oz ☼ ½ pint ☼ 240 ml
I hope this helps!
You're welcome.
Now, go measure away.
